Lecture: Methods of studying at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts
This year Faculty of Dramatic Arts marks its 70th anniversary. Today, it has the reputation of the most prestigious art school in the region, producing a wide range of professionals in fields of art, culture, media. At the 65th March Festival, the Faculty will present its film and TV departments: directing, production, camera, editing, sound recording and sound design, dramaturgy and acting.

The largest regional documentary program producer, Al Jazeera Balkans, will present possibilities for cooperation to local film and production companies. Program producer Lejla Dedić will talk about film stories and styles that Al Jazeera might find attractive and their models of cooperation with external production, offering an insight into the program concept of Al Jazeera.
Film Chairs, open consultations
The most notable Serbian filmmakers will be available for consultations to anyone interested in any aspect of documentary, animated, experimental or short film. Short conversation and consultations with anyone who has an idea, a synopsis, or a film project well on its way, but need an advice about the next step.
Registration will be on the spot, all onlookers are welcome.

Notable Serbian creators of animated films, Nikola Majdak Jr. and Ana Nedeljković, who made Rabbitland and The Non-travels, award-winning animated films, will talk about the basics of animation. The workshop participants will bring to life drawings, objects and fantastic universes and will make short animated films. We will talk about the importance of animation and the ways of conveying serious subjects through an animated form.
The workshop is intended for children ages 7 to 11 with their parents.
Ex Oriente showcase
Ex Oriente Film is an international training programme for documentary professionals supporting the development and funding of creative documentary films from Central and Eastern Europe. The core of the Ex Oriente Film workshop is based on three week-long residential workshops held over 9 months. Each year they select up to 12 projects that receive assistance from a wide range of film experts, with each workshop focusing on a different segment of development. The participants are given a tailored guidance in developing the subject, narrative and the visual style of their projects, making drafts of a financing and distribution strategy, and finding international partners.

VICE panel
What makes VICE production different from others and why the new generation understand it so well and like it? Alex Miller, Creative Director of VICE UK, Galeb Nikačević, the leading author for VICE Serbia and Daniel Bukumirović, Editor in Chief of VICE Serbia will talk about the way they choose their stories and produce documentaries in more than 60 countries worldwide and the possibilities of work with local filmmakers.
Mila Turajlić, Lecture about self-production and self-distribution of documentaries
Mila Turajlić, the most successful documentary filmmaker of the new generation will hold a lecture about making an auteur documentary on a limited budget and then persuade major local and international distributors and TV networks to buy and show it. The director/producer of films that, despite being very personal managed to gain success matching major feature films, will talk about the issues that every domestic documentary filmmaker has to deal with.
